Procurement
The Procurement Department is responsible for sourcing the materials, goods, and services our company needs globally. The department ensures that all purchases are cost‑effective, high‑quality, and delivered on time. In addition, it plays an important role in promoting responsibility and sustainability within the company’s procurement activities. The team is also responsible for negotiating with various suppliers.
The Procurement Department collaborates closely with several other functions, such as Product Development, Production, Sales, and Logistics, to ensure that procurement activities meet the needs of different parts of the organization. The department also manages the supplier chain, ensuring that suppliers comply with the company’s ethical and responsible business practices.
Because the Procurement Department works continuously with different suppliers, its employees must have strong negotiation and communication skills. It is also important for procurement professionals to have a solid understanding of market trends and supplier operations, enabling them to ensure that purchases remain competitive and aligned with the company’s needs.
